Committee
Dayu's Technical Steering Committee (TSC) stewards project direction and governance. Maintainers lead day-to-day technical work. These are separate responsibilities that one person may hold together. The system roster records project roles; the governance rules describe how appointments and decisions work.

The Chair coordinates direction, governance, and community discussions. The Vice Chair supports agendas, decision records, and follow-up, and can chair proceedings when eligible if the Chair is unavailable or recused. These offices add no extra vote, technical approval authority, or repository permission.

Maintainers share responsibility for technical quality, shared interfaces, compatibility, releases, and contributor support across the system repository. They coordinate qualified review and help contributors find the right starting point.

Anyone can contribute or provide a technically qualified review. To take on ongoing maintenance responsibility, discuss your interest and contributions with a Maintainer and follow the appointment process. Affiliation records a person's institution; eligibility and responsibility depend on individual contribution and judgment.
